RRC has offered Department of Parks, Rec. & Community Facilities (DPRCF) Improvements & Programs *

  • RRC has offered over $20,000 in James River Park improvements.
    • Construction of put-in and take-out steps.
    • Improving picnic shelters.
    • Repairing existing damaged drainage systems.

RRC has offered DPRCF a Variety of Minority Participation Programs *

  • Hundreds of free rafting opportunities for inner City children.
  • Hiring minority owned businesses to do City approved improvements within the James River Park.
  • Actively recruit minorities for employment.
  • Scholarships for job training in outdoor recreation.

 RRC has offered DPRCF Revenue Producing Programs *

  • Hundreds of rafting trips that could be used in a variety of ways.
    • Including selling the trips.
      • Targeting the money to support the James river Park.

RRC has donated Money to the James River Park

  • Hundreds of dollars have been donated directly to the James River Park.
